I feel stronger in the middle of the lift now, but I'm feeling really weak in the hole. Side effect of band-resisted squats? Or a personal problem?

The band-resisted squats should increase your stretch reflex, from what I understand. Are you feeling weak or slow in the hole (or both?). We haven't worked in pause squats or low box squats in a while for you, so that may be worth considering. Of course, suit work will fix that too haha.
I feel slow and slightly unstable. You think I should stick to pause squats over the break instead of band-resisted? It's been a while since I did pause squats with a belt so I think I may be able to make some gains on them over the course of this cycle.
