I woke up and my ankle was still super swollen, so I went to the doctor to get advice. He took xrays, which showed no tear or broken bones, just my ligament got stretched, so it'll take another 5 weeks to fully heal. No sports or lifting that could aggravate it. Upper body, hip adductors, hip abductors, leg raises all okay.

12-3, 12-5
12-3
P. Sn 77/3 x 3
C&J 90/1+2 102/1 x 4
Jerk 102/2 115/1 x 5 (missed the first rep, then got 5 in a row)
BTN Jerk 115/1 120/1 - missed twice, mid back too fatigued
Jerk 102/2 got this twice then stopped. Mid back was burned out
Cl. pu. bel. kn. 90/4 102/3 115/2 x 2
Back Squat 115/3 x 4
12-5
Snatch 73/2 85/2 95/1 x 2 100/1 missed this a bunch went down to 80, 90, 100 missed again
P. Cl. + pu. j. 90/1+2 x 4
Snatch 80/1 x 2 90/1 95/1 100 - couldn't lift it from the floor, too psyched out
Back squat 115/3 152/4 x 3
I think the problem with my snatch right now is twofold: 1) my mid back is fried from all the over support work I've been doing, even though i felt quite strong today. Second, my right wrist has been hurting quite badly lately, forcing me to wear wrist wraps on all snatch lifts. I don't feel pain but I think it a slight pain when the weight gets heavy may be inhibiting my right tricep/shoulder from firing to the max. I missed 3 snatches at 100kg because even though I caught the bar in the right place, my right arm literally just gave out. 95 was easy though, and technically that is 90% of my contest best. Not bad for 2 weeks from test day. With rest I SHOULD be able to hit 107, maybe 110, but if my wrists fucks with me I don't know what'll happen. Legs feel strong though. 152/4 was easy.

Crazy Benching
Well, tonight was basically trying to find out what doesn't beat the crap out of my left wrist and go with that.
Fat DB Bench: 60lbsx12, 70x12, 70x10, 90x Miss (3 times)
Rev. Grip Lockouts: 135x5, 185x5, 175x5, 185x3
Rev. Grip Rev. Band Press (purple): 135x5, 155x3, 165x3, 175x2
Tate Press (fat DB): 40x10, 40x10, 50x5, 50x7
Scap Pulls: 6, 6, 6, 6
Strange Transverse Ab Cable thing: repped out until I felt it and then held for 15 sec x 4
Thinking I just may convert to reverse grip and work on that for a while (learn the groove, get strong, etc.)
And as for Phil's suggestion, I am working on it. If all goes well I should be able to get to at least 230 by the end of spring quarter (although 245 would be nice).
