Last heavy squatting before the meet. Full gear baby.
Squats:

245 X 5
155 X 10

Good job buddy. You're looking strong. Still squatting in a deadlift suit?

Thanks.

Yes sir. That's just how I roll.

A 181er at my gym bought a 36 Titan Centurion Super NXG+ and he said it's small on him. I might buy it off him if it fits me.

Brent, I noticed on those videos that Dave put up that you tend to shift around in the hole. This results in you using the Dave Technique (ie good-morning the weight up). I think you need to get more comfortable in the hole.

Your squat is getting huge these days. What is the secret? Also, what are your plans for the meet?

I plan on opening at 402lb and then going up to the 435-440lb range for a second attempt. After that, I'd like to hit something in the 460s...that would be awesome.

If you hit a triple at 440, why not open heavier at 430? Maybe 430 / 460 / 480?

I'm with Dave. There is no reason to open that low.

I'm pretty nervous about squatting, especially with USAPL judging. My thinking process was to bury the shit out of the 402 and then go from there.

Also, I really wasn't expecting to be able to triple 440. Perhaps I will open heavier then. Maybe 424/457/???.? would be better.
