Went down to 4-star in pursuit of a Katana that fits
Board Press:
In Katana:
315 x 1
In my F6:
365 x 3, 3-board
385 x 2, 3-board
365 x 2, 2-board
365 x fail, half-board
Katana felt so-so. The arms were too tight (no surprise there), so I couldn't sink it in well enough to bench comfortably. Maybe with some babypowder it might go up, but I suspect my hands would lose feeling even more than they were without it.
The F6 feel like a tight HD-Blast anymore :'(. It give a decent pop off the bottom but in no way is a tight competition shirt anymore. At least it didn't slice my armpits...
Close-Grip Bench:
185 x 6
225 x 5
255 x 5 (brent beat me :'( )
225 x 8 + 1 fail
Band-lighened bench:
Spencer had the greens hooked up single-style so the bar was suspended like 5'. Not sure how much was off at each point.
225 x 5
275 x 5
245 x 5, 3 sets
Lying Tricep Extensions:
I forget what these are called. Use the monster-mini. I hadn't even seen one before, but it seems pretty sweet. It's nice having something between the mini and the purples.
30 x 10
35 x 10
elbows were feeling so-so (overtraining), so I called it quits on these.
Front Raises:
35s x 10 per arm, 2 sets
Finished with a few pulls of the sled.
