LAST TWO DAYS

1. 4/3/09 - Thu - SHEIKO #5

Weight: 207. Time: 2:45.

  Today went much better than last week. My adductor felt OK and I finally remembered how to set up properly with the suit, although it was just as painful as ever. This workout is 18 sets of deadlifts with 10 suited, so it completely destroys me.

Deadlift 275x5 (50), 330x5x2 (60), 385x4 (70), add suit, 420x4 (70), 450x3x4 (75)

All easy, if uncomfortable.

Bench 165x5 (55), 195x5 (65), 210x4x5 (70)

Dips BWx8x5

Maybe 6 sets.

Deadlift from knees 275x5 (50), 330x5x2 (60), 385x4 (70), add suit, 420x4 (70), 480x3x4 (80)

My hands were hurting really bad by this point.

Lunges 135x5x5

2. 4/2/09 - Wed - FLEXIBILITY/CARDIO

Cardio - bike ?? bpm x 20 mins

Stretching - gastroc, soleus, hamstrings, seated groin, hip flexors


Today I also did one rep of squats with straps up using 135 + green bands. It was the first time I've ever squatted in the suit. Right now I only barely put my straps up on my shoulders (not even on the traps) because the suit is too damn tight, and I don't want to stretch it all out by the meet.

which suit are you using and what size is it? this 181er in my gym bought a 36 Centurion that doesnt fit him so i'm probably gonna buy that off him

It's a Centurion -- custom fit tho, so no clue what size it is. My waist is 34'', weight 205, height 6'1'' if that gives you any clue. I've had it trimmed down twice since first receiving it.
