Club Sports Jamboree
Apparently we were accepted as a club sport for the fall. However, no one informed us that the club sports jamboree (the main recruiting event) was today. I just found out. If anyone is reading the blog, could someone go down there and hang out for a bit? The thing runs until 5pm and apparently they have a space set up for us. If anything, leave a note saying to email someone if they're interested.

Hey Dave, I know I talked with you earlier, but the Jamboree went fairly well I thought. We were there and got a lot of inquisitive people. But we also have a lot of new responsiblities as a new club. I know Greg and I will be going to a meeting on 9/30 for club sports, and that we need to set up a meeting with the club sports people (Jason, and the other woman whose name starts with an E).
A few things to talk about in that meeting would be the use of the Wooden center/other facilities, t-shirts and other gear, chalk and other lifting things that we keep getting nagged about, and recruiting (the whole waiver system and such).
Sorry if I'm stepping on anyone's toes with this assumption of responsibility lol, but I just want us to be able to keep club status and get funding.
Also, one more thing. Who is in charge on paper now that Trey is gone?
Trey still is.
..don't worry kyle; if you want, you can act as his Assistant for taking care of any further forms.
ha-- ..KIDDING, big kylie. Apparently ucla took notice of my graduation since i'm no longer receiving emails from jason & co. So, i'm guessing big dave's the pointman now; so nonetheless.. the news sounds GOOD! ucla powerlifting's now OFFICIAL!
