11/30

Bench:
95x5
135x5
185x3
225x1
245x1
275xfail, fail
205x5x4

Standing Press:
95x5
105x3
115x3
125x3x4

Chins:
BWx5
25x5
45x5
70x2.5

Rows:
135x10
185x5
205x5, 5

Bench attempts at 275 failed. I was sick, so I was sure that I would be more powerful than ever. I stalled out on both reps right in the middle. If I could have pressed it out an inch more it would have gone up. Terence recommended getting some speed, which I will try to do from here on out.

Looks like you stalled out right around the 3 or 4 board area. I agree with Terence because your strength is definitely there, you just need to use that speed off your chest to finish the movement...preferably in less than 10 seconds lol. Maybe try throwing in speed work after heavy bench for your next cycle?

Yeah, I was thinking of focusing my back-off sets on generating speed this next cycle. It would be nice to be able to do a single in under 5 seconds for once haha.

Maybe more floor press too!! Seems like you are failing right around that point where the elbows touch the floor on floor press.

Also, incline bench will help that transition phase of where you are trying to improve.
