Squat

This was an extreme grinder from right out of the hole through the middle of the lift. Probably the longest squat rep I've ever done. I'm getting no explosion at all out of the hole. More pause squats? Or more squat suit?

Pause squats (3 count)

235 x 3
245 x 3, 3

Lunges
135 x 6, 6, 6

Finished with calves, ball transversus, and stretching.

other solutions may include but are not limited to-
1.squatting higher
2. more food
3. more Biceps

How hard were those pause squats that you did? If they were grinders at that weight, then you may need to work that harder.

Nick, I only squat to increase my bicep curl max.

Kyle, I think you're right. 245 is the most weight I've ever used on pause squats, but considering that I squatted 80 lbs more than that I should probably push these harder. 3rd rep is usually a semi-grinder on my pause squat sets.
