RANDOM BENCH/DEADLIFT


Close-grip bench 45x5, 135x5, 185x5, 225x5,5,7

I really exceeded my expectations on this. None of the sets to failure and it felt pretty easy. Bench felt a little shaky on Tues, so I'm happy. Lower back also felt OK, but my arch sucked pretty bad.

Conventional deadlift 154x5, 264x5, 314x5, 364x5, 384x5, 404x7

Form not perfect but still better than I used to be with conventional, so I'll take it.

A: Military Press (standing) 154x5,5,4

Meh. Never was very good at this.

A: Bent-over row 204x5,7,10

Always hated these, they just feel very awkward.


The close-grip and deadlift had to be some kind of PRs. But, really, its not a 1RM, so who gives a shit?
