Sumo Deadlift Day

Me and Steve gave Sumo deadlifting a try after watching Dean and Nathan dominate at it. However, we realized that it was harder than they made it look.

Sumo Deadlift: 135x10, 225x5, 315x5, 365x4, 405x4, 445x2, 455x1 (Steve worked up to 500x1)

Low pin zurchers: 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 495x4

Back extensions: 2 sets for 50 reps (started out holding 25lb plate then dropped to 10lb and then bodyweight)

Sumo stance was definitely a challenge for us. We should probably get coached by one of you guys before we try it again.

Actually that's pretty good. You obviously can't expect to maximize your potential the first time you try something. And you should get more out of your suit pulling sumo than conventional. I don't pull much more than 500 raw.

Also, I back-dated your posts and added labels. If you can just add the "Brent" label so your workouts can be searched by name, that'd be tight. It's stupid, but blogger is crappy and doesn't do it automatically.
