Return of the Deadlift

After a nearly 3 month hiatus...

Deadlift:
550 x 1
605 x 1 @ 8 (best rep of the day)
655 x 1 @ 8+

Minimal pain (but not pain free). Reps weren't super quick as the videos will show, but I'm pleased to not be down for the count on these at nationals.

video of the 655:

Cleans:
185 x 1

Ow. stopped before i hurt myself

Finished with like 200 reps of hyperextensions.

Bonus rep: i can still touch the basketball rim. <3

655 overtrained is not bad at all.

Good job! Was that @8 with a full reset, or @8 bouncing?

The @8 was the RTS effort estimate. I only did these for singles, as my back is still not 100%. Looking at the video, the 605 and 655 are about the same speed, which is sad, haha.

Yeah. What I meant was, could you do 2-4 more reps with a full reset, or 2-4 more reps bouncing? Or are you just judging by feel?

Oh, with the full reset, it didn't feel to strenuous. My first rep is always the slowest, so i'm sure I could've pulled 655 for 2-3 more.

Also, I haven't bounced my deadlifts in years, with the exception of when I did that 500 x 13 a while ago, haha.
