Nice job Vit. Glad to see you are keeping up with PL after having graduated. What are your meet plans in the near future?

Nice work Vit!!

What happened on that last bench? Would you have gotten it if the bar hand't rolled?

Also, have you ever gotten all three deadlifts at a meet? You're on your way to a 600 pull, which is awesome.

I hope someone got some video, as I want to see this big lifts!

Thanks guys.

Matt, my next meet will most likely be USPA Nationals in late June. How is your training going? Still training at Quest?

Dave, I most likely would've gotten my last bench if the bar didn't roll back. I almost recovered and kept pressing through but the bar was all over the place and eventually drifted towards my head. And ya that was the first time I ever hit all three deads in a meet. I was surprised haha. My best pull in the gym was 525 so I wasnt too sure 540 would come up after squatting and benching. I think what may have helped was hitting my opener 4 weeks out and just doing deads with chains for the next two weeks to let my back rest up from all the heavy squatting and pulling of the training cycle. I'll post videos tonight.

Vithuran! You got way passed the 500 deadlift barrier. Nice job dude! How many people from your gym competed? Are you on your way to 220s now?

Thanks Mis and Greg. We had 5 guys from OCSC competing on Saturday. I may wait until after nationals to make the move up to 220s, since nationals is only 13 weeks away. I'd rather fill out my frame a little bit before moving up and competing at 220. For this meet I trained at around 202-203 so cutting water weight to make 198s wasn't too bad, especially with the 24 hr weigh in.
